Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India gives Allu Arjun his biggest opening, earns Rs 40 crore on Day 1

Allu Arjun has much to celebrate. The Tollywood star’s film Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India has opened to good response at the box office, earning Rs 40 crore across the world on day one. Notably, this is the biggest opening an Allu Arjun film has earned, beating the record of Allu Arjun’s earlier hit Duvvada Jagannadham.
Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India had done considerable business even before the film hit the screens. According to media reports, the film earned Rs 103 crore with the sale of its rights. The theatrical versions for Tamil and Malayalam (including dubbing) have been sold for Rs 58.5 crore in Telugu speaking states and Rs 75 crore worldwide. Broadcast rights have fetched Rs 24.5 crore and music has earned Rs 3.5 crore. Notably the film’s Tamil version En Peru Surya En Veedu India has gotten a big release. The film was released in more than 200 theatres across Tamil Nadu, one of the biggest releases since Baahubali 2. Helmed by screenwriter-turned-director Vakkantham Vamsi, Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India also stars Anu Emmanuel, Arjun Sarja, Harish Uthaman, Thakur Anoop Singh, Boman Irani, Rao Ramesh and Vennela Kishore in pivotal roles. Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India is the directorial debut of Vakkantam Vamsi. However, he has worked as a writer on some of the biggest blockbusters in Telugu cinema such as Kick, Temper, and Oosaravelli among others.

Allu Arjun shooting in a village?

Stylish Star Allu Arjun's Race Guram unit is busy shooting in a village. The film unit is shooting in a set erected in Rama Naidu Cine Village in Nanak Ram Guda. The unit is filming some of the most important scenes between the hero, villain and other actors including Mukesh Rishi. Bhojpuri film Superstar Ravi Kishen who have done some super hit films as a lead actor is going to play a negative role in this film. Shruti Hassan is the female lead in the film which is being directed by Kick fame Surinder Reddy. Audience are eagerly waiting to see the magic to be created by Stylish Star and Stylish Director. Nallamalupu Bujji and Dr. Venkateshwara Rao are producing this stylish action flick. The unit claims that this is going to be the funniest film in Bunny's entire career. The producers are planning for a Sankranti release.

Allu Arjun's 'Race Gurram' Joins The Sankranthi Race

Looks like Allu Arjun's film 'Race Gurram' is getting ready for the Sankranthi race with Mahesh Babu's '1-Nenokkadine' already announced to have reserved its slot. The film has Sruthi Hassan as the female lead and is directed by Surender Reddy. The combination of the stylish star and stylish director is for sure creating enormous interest in the film market. The movie is being produced by Nallamalupu Bujji and Dr. Venkateshwara Rao.

Kick Shyam and Saloni are playing prominent roles and SS Thaman is composing the beats for the film. The latest addition to the ensemble is Ravi Kishan, the super star of Bhojpuri cinema doing the antagonist's role in the film. The film is at present shooting in a set erected in Rama Naidu Cine Village in Nanak Ram Guda, filming key scenes on the hero, villain and other actors including Mukesh Rushi.

Talking about the proceedings, producers said 'Race Gurram will be the funniest film in Bunny's entire career thus far. Will bring the house down with lots of 'LOL' moments. We plan to finish the shoot by November, unveil the audio in December and release the film for the Pongal'

Bunny is luckier than me: Charan

Hyderabad: Versatile actor Kaikala Satyanarayana received Padmasri Allu Ramalingaiah Kala Peetam's National Award for the year 2011. The award was presented, on the eve of the late actor Allu Ramalingaiah's 90th birthday, at the Kalavani Auditorium in Visakhapatnam recently.

Actors Allu Arjun and Ram Charan Teja had presented the award to Satyanarayana. Speaking on this occasion, Ram Charan said: 'Bunny is lucky and blessed as Tataiah (grandpa) was alive to see his debut. Bunny was very naughty as a boy. He used to make Tataiah run around him and made him healthy. At one time Tataiah offered me gifts only if I caught Bunny. It shows how good a runner Bunny is.'

'Bunny and I have inherited only his genes. But Brahmanandam seems to have inherited Tataiah's comedy genes,' Charan added.

Allu Arjun Trivikram Film Launch on September 24

Stylish Star Allu Arjun and writer-director Trivikram Srinivas’ film launch is scheduled on 24th of this month. It will have Ileana D’ Cruz in the female lead role.

As known, Allu Arjun had recently undergone a shoulder surgery in Australia. He is fast recovering and is will join the film unit in the first week of October.

DVV Danaiah and S Radha Krishna are producing this film. Music will be composed by Devi Sri Prasad. More details about the other cast and crew will be announced soon.
